Two sommeliers, one narrow room in Lyon and a wine list that changes every week. They wanted a brand that could keep up with the list without a designer on call.

I built the identity, the signage and the website from the bar’s back office, two afternoons a week for three months. The system is deliberately loose: hand-cut labels and a single heavy serif, so every new bottle gets its own label in an afternoon. The website reads the weekly list from the spreadsheet the sommeliers already kept.

Six months in, the bar prints its own menus and nobody has called me for a template. Updating the site takes under ten minutes a week, and it has since won a web award.
